About Sunset Hills USA / Alpen Ridge Australian Labradoodles

Sue Broady in Central Oregon, USA and over-seen by Melinda Radus of Sunset Hills Breeding Center in Adelaide Australia, a world-renown breeder of top quality Australian Labradoodles.  Sunset Hills /Alpen Ridge Australian Labradoodles' goal is to provide beautiful, healthy, well rounded, allergy and asthma friendly dogs to families and breeders around the world. 

All our dogs carry Australian bloodlines.  Melinda at Sunset Hills has personally overseen the selection of breeding stock for our program here in the states. Our dogs have been either imported from the Sunset Hills Center in Australia, or are from imported lines.

Alpen Ridge breeding stock is health screened, temperament tested and DNA typed.  We have chosen top quality dogs to produce top quality puppies.

 We have planned litters of miniature and medium.  Miniatures are 13-16+ inches at the shoulder, around the size of a Cocker Spaniel.  Mediums are 17-20 inches at the shoulder, around the size of a Labrador retriever.  Standards are 21+ inches, approximately the size of a standard poodle.  There are three coat types: Hair and Hair/Combo (shedding), Fleece (non-shedding, allergy and asthma friendly), and Wool (non-shedding, allergy and asthma friendly).  Alpen Ridge concentrates on miniature and medium sizes with fleece or wool coat.

 Our puppies are born in our home and are handled from the day they are born.  We not only guarantee genetic health, but guarantee our puppies’ temperaments as we have very strict requirements for the temperaments of the breeding dogs in our program.  We also give ongoing support to our puppy owners.  To view a copy of our Companion Pet Guarantee, please request one by email and we will send a copy to you.
