Alpen Ridge Retired Dogs
These Australian Labradoodle dogs have played a huge roll in the development of Alpen Ridge bloodlines. I appreciate so much the opportunity to have had them in my breeding program. All are now retired and living as pets and service dogs with their families, most through the guardian program. They are missed and much loved. Return to Our Dogs.
Sunsethills Aurora (Rorie)
Rorie was imported from Australia. Darling miniature cream fleece coat girl. In this picture she is about 6 years old, still showing that wonderful quality. I still hear regularly from her "mom" and how much she enjoys Rorie and how thankful she is to have her as her pet.
Sunsethills High Hopes (Heidi)
Heidi was one of my early girls imported Australian Labradoodles. She is extremely smart and oh so loving. Cream miniature wool coat.
Heidi's mother, Rutland's Chalani was the first Australian Labradoodle that I met in Australia. I was so impressed with Chalani, that I started my program from those lines, not only with Heidi, but with several granddaughters. Chalani is the lines that I have gotten my service and therapy dogs from.
Sunsethills Riverdance (Limerick)
Limerick is known nationwide for her wonderful quiet disposition. Medium 17.5" fleece coat caramel cream girl. She has produced two full time sevice dogs, and also therapy dogs. They just don't come with a better disposition than Limerick. Limerick was imported from Australia. Lim lives in CA.
Sunsethills Siena Springs (Siena)
Little Siena, at only about 13.5 inches, made up for it with a zest for life. She never has a bad day. Loves everyone and so very tolerant of children's activities. Miniature cafe wool coat. Siena was also imported from Australia. Siena lives in Portland and shares her "people" with Saucy.
Sunsethills Stylish Impression (Stella)
I met Stella on one of my trips to Australia and knew I had to have her. Gorgeous black and silver phantom 16" miniature wool coat. Stella was the base for all my phantom lines. This amazing girl is a registered service dog and has gone on to be a constant companion and service dog to her owner. She is truly amazing with a keen insight to people's feelings. Her family refers to her as their "Fur person", as she is so much in tune to all around her. I miss her very much as she was my pet until this family came to visit and Stella choose them. She must have known there was a need there. Australian Import.
Tegan Park Lil Bit Saucy
Saucy is a sweet gentle girl. Chocolate Cafe fleece 16.5" miniature with a big heart. Saucy lives with her owners and Siena. Such a pretty girl. Australian Import.
Copper Canyon Goldie Locks (Lucy)
Lucy came to Alpen Ridge from Canada, but has Australian Imported lines. Lucy is a large mini gold fleece coat. She has produced some gorgeous babies over the years. Lucy is now enjoying her retirement on 20 acres. Well done Lucy!
Alpenridge Sparkling Springs (Ruby)
13.5" Miniature chcolate cafe curly fleece. Ruby is Siena's daughter, looks just like her mother once trimmed down. She came over from Australia in her mommy's tummy. Ruby is a much loved pet and enjoying her life. Darling little girl. Ruby lives with her family in Prineville.

Mia is a golden cream small medium fleece coat girl. Gorgeous girl. Mia not only received her AKC Canine Good Citizen award, but she also does agility and is starting on tracking and working towards therapy certification. Mia lives with her family in Eugene.

21" small standard. Roxie was the ultimate puppy! She has an "old soul" wisdom and disposition, along with a flop puppy attitude and gorgeous chocolate fleece coat. She is quick to learn, easy going and loves to please. A true therapy dog type attitude. Her mother came over from Australia in whelp with this litter. Roxie has passed all her health testing. Roxie lives with her family in Bend, OR on a ranch that raises Fell Ponies. Due to the family's medical needs, Roxie is their full time therapy dog now.

What a sweet girl she is, very gentle nature just like her mother. Not only is she chocolate spiral fleece, but also carries for parti and phantom. She is 16 inch miniature. We are excited about adding Parti to our lines and producing more phantoms. She lives with her guardian family in Bend, OR and helps with a daycare.

Kirkton's Ranger (Dude) NOTICE Dude has been retired early to be a full time service dog for his guardian child with a brain disease. Though he will be greatly missed, this is what these dogs are bred for! Alpen Ridge was able to store semen before he left, but will not be able to offer it to the public due to quantity for Alpen Ridge use. Hopefully in the future we will be able to offer some offspring. He is a super dog, doing a super job.

Alpenridge Red Salsa (Ginger)
Lovely Ginger has retired and lives with her guardian family now in the Seattle area. Ginger is one of those amazing "old soul" granddaughter of Limerick that just seems to know what is asked of her. Without any preparation, Ginger went into the ring and passed her Canine Good Citizen test first try. Enjoy retirement Ginger!

Adorable Punkin, known as Maisy by her guardians is my little mini girl, about 13 inches. She has a silky wool coat in that lovely red/apricot color. She has a fantastic dispostion and a real cuddler. She is a hit everywhere she goes. Lives with her guardian family and two little boys in Bend. Her guardian mom is known as, "the one with the cute little dog" at her son's kindergarten.
